By creating a TeachX account or using any TeachX tool, you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a school or coaching institute, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
TeachX is built for teachers and educational institutes. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email - there's no password to manage, which also means keeping access to your email account secure is how you keep your TeachX account secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
TeachX runs on a credit wallet: tools cost credits per use rather than a flat monthly seat fee (roughly ₹1 per credit, with the exact cost varying by tool - a question paper costs 5 credits, a lesson plan about 3, and so on, as shown in the app). You add credits to your wallet through the Buy Credits option in your dashboard.
Institutes can move their whole staff onto pooled credits with centralized billing - available from Settings. Credits are non-transferable between accounts and have no cash value outside of TeachX.
You agree to use TeachX only for lawful, legitimate teaching-related purposes. You may not use TeachX to generate content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights, or to abuse the service - for example, by attempting to bypass credit limits or automate mass generation outside normal classroom use.
You own the content you upload to TeachX and the content TeachX generates for you. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service - generating your requested output, storing it in your library, and running the checks you ask for.
Because TeachX's outputs are AI-generated, you're responsible for reviewing them for accuracy before using them in your classroom.
You can stop using TeachX and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abuse of the platform or non-payment of billed amounts for institute plans.
TeachX is provided "as is." We work to keep the service reliable and the AI-generated content useful, but we don't guarantee that generated content will be error-free or fit for every use - you remain responsible for reviewing material before using it with students. To the extent permitted by law, TeachX is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these terms as TeachX evolves. Continuing to use TeachX after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
